THE WEDDING AND THE BRIDAL SHOWER IS POSTPONED !!!
We found out that my grandma passed away today. Gee was the one that had to tell me, and I tried hard to fight the tears as I was driving home from one of our silly girly emergency runs. I didn't even make it home when pain squished my heart so tight tears couldn't help but stream from my eyes.
I've smiled and laughed since I heard the news today. However, I can't help but feel paralyzed every once in a while. I never got a chance to say goodbye to her. I never saw her sick. Somehow, I just ... alway thoughts she'd be okay.
I always say ... God cries with me. Everytime I'm sad it rains. You don't have to believe that. I have a wedding to look forward to .. that's I've postponed 'til 4th of July. One of the greatest woman I've known passed away. The thunderstorm I'm watching outside is nothing to the storms I feel inside. I never got to tell her "Lola I'm getting married. I'm getting married to a great man. No worries." I can't help worry and wonder if she knew how much I thought of her. Whenever I look into the mirror I see her. She is my home. One of the first voices I ever recognized as a baby.
Yamba ... it's the only thing I truly understand and grasp of myself. She carried that lastname with dignity and pride. Most importantly she caried it with love. God I miss her.
About two to three weeks ago I had a vision. I saw two stars. In one of them I saw a man praying. The praying man's (in the second star) situation has already come to pass. I guess it's time for my 1st star to shine.
I love you Lola Goria. I pray God holds you in his arms forever.
